Pinga - Etymology
Pinga has traveled a long road.
Initially Pinga meant "the one who is up on high" in Inuit mythology.
Pinga was a goddess of the hunt, fertility and medicine.
Pinga was also charged with bringing souls of the newly-dead to Adlivun, the underworld.
Somewhere between fertility and soul bearing, Pinga took a fantastic about face.
Then Pinga became something much more masculine, somewhat like a snake.
